A day after Holi Sunny Leone found her name embroiled in a slapgate episode with reports emerging that the actress slapped a journalist for quizzing her about her charges for ‘night performances’.
The incident is alleged to have occurred in Surat yesterday at a Holi event where Sunny Leone was one of the celebrity guests.
Reports suggested that the question from the scribe enraged the actress so much that she ended up slapping the former. Reports also quoted Sunny’s husband Daniel Weber saying that Sunny Leone would think a thousand times before coming to Gujarat again.
However, when IndianExpress.com checked with Daniel Weber on the same, he denied the entire episode and expressed surprise at such fake reports doing the rounds along with his fake quote. (Read: Sunny Leone’s eyes do the talking in One Night Stand poster)
Said Daniel, “There is not a single fact of truth to this. It’s a shame that they did not fact check when someone just tells any random story. Even the quote is complete lie. We have called him and proved he has lied.”
When asked what exactly transpired at the event, Daniel said, ” Nothing. We don’t know what this person is talking about as there were no interviews at the holi event. If anyone knows us then they would know this could never be true.”
