Sunny Leone who plays the protagonist in ‘Beiiman Love’ will have Rajniesh Duggal play her romantic interest. Leone who will play a contemporary woman in the emotional love story will be seen as the modern woman of today. She plays a rebellious girl who, through grit and strong determination, changes the course of her life.

In the first half, she will be seen as a simple, innocent and bubbly senior business executive who works for a jewellery house. For this she will sport a common girl look. In the second half, she becomes a busi- ness tycoon and will be seen as more mature and focussed.

“We will start shooting the film in February, but we start recording the songs this month. There’s more of acting for Sunny in Beiman Love and her bold and fiery role will in- spire and encourage women to lead life on their own terms. There are other actors who have made special appearances in the film, but I cannot reveal their names yet,” says the film’s writer- director- producer Rajeev Chaudhuri, who has earlier produced television shows.

In a rather unique move, Sunny Leone and Ram Kapoor have been paired opposite each other for the first time in the upcoming comedy entertainer ‘Kuch Kuch Locha Hain‘. And now we hear that the film is all set to recreate one of the most popular RD Burman classics.

In 1984, we saw Rishi Kapoor and the saree clad Dimple Kapadia dancing sensuously to the romantic track ‘Jaane Do Na’ sung by Shailendra Singh and evergreen Asha Bhosle. And now we will see yet another version of the song in Kuch Kuch Locha Hai and it will be picturized on Sunny Leone. Composer Arko Pravo Mukherjee, who has previously rendered the new version of Dayavan track ‘Aaj Phir Tum Pe’ for Hate Story 2, will be doing the same with ‘Jaane Do Na’. Excited about this, Arko stated that this track won’t be a remix. It will have elements of hip-hop and will be groovier, at the same time, will retain portions of the original soundtrack.

Produced by Magic Pictures and Entertainment along with Maximus Multimedia, Kuch Kuch Locha Hai is directed by Devang Dholakia. The film will have Sunny Leone playing the role of a popular film star while Ram Kapoor plays the role of a rich Gujarati businessman.

Unlike her previous sensual hits where she has shaken a leg with Yo Yo Honey Singh, John Abraham among others, this time around, Sunny Leone will be seen for the first time, grooving along with her husband Daniel Weber for a music video. The actress, who started her career in the Indian entertainment industry as a contestant of Bigg Boss, will now be seen in as many as five films this year. However, the music video in question is not for any of her Bollywood ventures but actually for a web series.

We hear that Sunny Leone was approached for this owing to her immense popularity on social media and the web in general and both Daniel and Sunny loved the concept. Hence, not only did they decide to be a part of it, but it is being said that the video will be shot in this month itself. Not divulging many details about the video, Daniel only mentioned that he is indeed doing a video with wife and actress Sunny Leone and Ali Quli Mirza (Bigg Boss contestant) will be singing the song. However, adding further, Weber also revealed that he has composed this song and will be seen playing guitar in the video.

Sunny was present at the cover launch of a magazine here along with her husband Daniel Webber when she was asked to name her favorite actress in Hindi filmdom.

She said: “Who do I think great actress? I always loved Vidya Balan and I think Kangana (Ranaut) does an amazing job as well.”

“Priyanka Chopra, I think, is a Jack of all trades. She does it all. I think she is probably one of the most inspiring women in Bollywood. I look at articles and I see everything that she is doing (here) and when I go back to the US, there I see her billboards.”

“It feels proud that when you are in another country and you see a billboard of her. Then you go like, ‘Yes, she is Indian, she is from where I am from.’ I think she is very inspiring.”

On the film front, Sunny will be next seen opposite Tushhar Kapoor and Vir Das in ‘Mastizaade’.

Interestingly, this item number will be a reworked version of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s ‘Dholi Taaro’ from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Hum Dil Chuke Sanam’ co-starring Salman Khan.

Producer Bhushan Kumar has acquired the rights of the original track. The song will be recreated by Meet Bros and will be transformed into a Rajashtani folk number. A huge set was created in Jaisalmer with a crowd of over 500 dancers dancing with Sunny Leone for the song.

The choreography of the song, which was shot last week, was done by Saroj Khan and Ahmed Khan. Amaal Mallik in collaboration with T-series has composed the music.

Actress Sunny Leone, who will be seen in a totally different avatar in Bobby Khan’s forthcoming film ‘Ek Paheli Leela’, said it was very challenging for her to transform herself into the character of Leela.

Sunny was present at the trailer launch of film here Friday when she was asked how challenging it was for her to get into the skin of the character.

She said: “It was a very challenging role. When I read the script I loved it. But the process of actually becoming Leela would take 2-3 hours. On the first day, I took 6 hours to finalise the look.”

“I received a lot of support in the form of good people in my team. The dialogues for Leela were difficult as well. So learning all that was difficult. But I think when people watch it they will see all the hard work that was put into this role,” she added.

‘Ek Paheli Leela’ also stars Jay Bhanushali, Rajneesh Duggal and Rahul Dev in prominent roles.

Largely shot in Jodhpur, the film is slated to hit theatres April 10.

Arko Pravo Mukherjee will be working on the Indo-British production Bombairiya’s music and has signed deals with Tips and Dharma Productions.

After the laugh riot The Shaukeens last year, Arko Pravo Mukherjee has composed music for a host of films this year.

For Tina and Lolo, directed by Devang Dholakia, he has composed two songs. “While one is a retro club song featuring Sunny Leone, she will also be seen in an ‘item’ number,” said Mukherjee.

The film centers around Leone and Karishma Tanna who set out on a road trip. Mukherjee, who usually writes his own songs has also given music for Dholakia’s Kuch Kuch Locha Hai starring Leone and Ram Kapoor as its protagonists.

His compositions in the film includes the remake of R.D. Burman’s Jaane do na from Saagar and another rap-hip-hop song which is picturised at a pool party has been composed and sung by rapper Ikka and Mukherjee. “Jaane… is a promotional song on Leone, I’ve only used the mukhdas from the original song and have written and composed the rest of it myself.

The song has another version which has been sung by Ankit Tiwari and Shweta Pandit,” explained Mukherjee.While both Tina… and Kuch… are light-hearted films, he has also scored the entire soundtrack for Bombairiya, which is a thriller-caper and the story of three people whose lives cross when something goes missing.

Of the three tracks, one is an Indian Sufi song, another, a folk turned into pop jazz song as well as a thematic fast-paced rock song. “The thematic song is like the film’s title track and is about the city and its madness. It’s an alternative rock song with electronic beats, notes of the guitar, beats of the live drum and sounds like a live rock band playing.

Talking about the Sufi song, Mukherjee explained, “In Bairiya, I have used traditional instruments like the sarangi, flute and Indian rhythm instruments. Bairiya literally means enmity, but in this context, it means the one who is separated or has gone away.”

However, most interesting is a folk turned into a pop-jazz song. “The song’s essence has been derived from North Indian pahadi folk. Its production is completely different and westernised; it has been scored using the guitars and flute.

As its been produced in the pop-jazz format, I’m classifying it in the pop-jazz genre,” explained Mukherjee as he spoke about his most eclectic composition. Mukherjee also has a 10-song deal with Tips and a deal with Dharma Productions. “I’ll be scoring music as and when they get films. One of the films I’ll also be working on is one from
Dharma Productions to be directed by Sonam Nair.”

Actress Sunny Leone says her husband Daniel Weber’s cameo in her next film ‘Ek Paheli Leela‘ may be small but it is the ‘cutest’.

“Daniel has a small role in the film but for me it’s the cutest one,” Sunny said here in an interview.

The former adult film actress, who has been a part of films like ‘Ragini MMS 2’ and ‘Jism 2’, also said that if given a chance, she “would love to work with Daniel in a full-fledged Hindi film”.

role in Ek Paheli Leela.

According to debutant director, Bobby Khan, Leone will be seen in different avatars in the film. Her character in the present era will see her playing a London based super model with an Indian lineage,
and will be seen in a very glamorous avatar.

A photo feature campaign comprising several models to be filmed in Rajasthan brings Leone to India and that’s where she meets a prince played by Mohit Ahlawat. They fall in love and soon get married.

“From a glamorous model, she becomes a princess and her whole attire changes. Sunny as a princess will wear kurtas, ghagras, chaniya cholis and gajras. Imagine Sunny in these clothes? But it was the requirement of the film and Sunny’s looking very beautiful and has also performed very well.

Besides Hindi, she has also learnt the Rajasthani dialect,” revealed Khan.

Interestingly, the film is a reincarnation story going back 300 years when Leone will be shown as a
dusky looking village girl called Leela. She wears small cholis and skirts wrapped around her as girls
wore un-stitched clothes in that era.

“The film which will show flashes of Sunny’s past is a beautiful story with enough suspense to keep the audience glued to their seats,” said Khan. Produced by Bhushan Kumar and choreographer Ahmed Khan, Leela releases on April 10.

Sunny Leone and Ram Kapoor’s Kuch Kuch Locha Hain is set to release on May 8. The shooting of the film, directed by Devang Dholakia and produced by debutant Mukesh Purohit, a businessman from Mumbai was recently wrapped up in Goa.

“In fact, 90 per cent of the film was completed in Malaysia and we canned two songs and some scenes in the span of seven days in Goa,” said Dholakia about the quirky love story where Leone plays an actress.

Talking about his film’s unusual title, he says that his all-time favourite film is Kuch Kuch Hota Hain, hence the name Kuch Kuch…Dholakia is also making Tina And Lolo with Leone in the lead along with Karishma Tanna.

The film is 70 per cent complete. “Karishma was inside the Big Boss house. We thought she would be there for ten days, when she did not get elimnated, we decided to anyway start shooting this film.

Now when we again get her dates, I shall finish the film in April or May in Mumbai within seven or eight days. Two songs also need to be picturised,” said Dholakia.

The making of two films Kuch Kuch Locha Hain and Tina Aur Lolo, both to release this year has inspired Purohit to expand his production house and he now plans to make at least four films a year.

“I already have a banner, Magic Pictures, and I also plan to start a big production house. I will be signing many directors and writers to work under us,” said Purohit who seems to be enjoy his new role.

Sunny Leone has triple role of a dancer in the modern world, a village belle and a princess of the past in the suspense thriller ‘Ek Paheli Leela’.

Written and directed by Bobby Khan, Ek Paheli Leela also has TV star Jay Bhanushali, Rajneesh Duggal, Mohit Ahlawat and Rahul Dev. The film is going to release on April 10.

It made for a perfect setting. With Sunny Leone leading her band of 100 skimpily dressed girls, the tranquility of the Sunset Resort at Morjim in Goa was shattered.

Gyrating to the tunes of Bheega yeh tera badan, for Kuch Kuch Locha Hai, choreographer Vishnu Devaa was spotted giving instructions and rehearsing with the dancers, even as director Devang Dholakia and debutant producer Mukesh Purohit sit under a huge beach umbrella watching the proceedings.

The peppy track has been crooned by Ikka Singh, Neha Kakkar and Arko Pravo Mukherjee. Explaining the scene that they were going to shoot that day, Dholakia says that it is Leone’s introductory song as well as the promotional song of the film. It is here that the hot-shot business man, Ram Kapoor catches a glimpse of Leone and starts fantasising about her.

Leone who plays an actress in the film, says, “I play an actress in the film, and while I am shooting for a fun song, Kapoor who plays a rich business man, sees me and falls in love with me.”The mishapDevaa is busy giving instructions to the dancers, 70 of whom are foreigners while 30 are locals. When Leone joins them, the pace picks up. Facing the camera she precariously balances a champage bottle while cavorting to the beats on her three inch high heels.

As the director gives the nod of approval, there is a slight accident as Leone slips andfalls. “There was some soapy water,” she says, regainingher composure quickly. Nonchalantly, she cleans her palm with an antiseptic lotion and applies a bandaid, before gliding into the water to continue with the shoot.

“Did you see that?” Sunny is a professional. Nothing can stop her when she is working. I am so glad to work with her, as this is my first independent Hindi film assignment (he has earlier worked as Prabhudeva’s assistant),” says Devaa, a sentiment that is echoed by Purohit, who says that it was great fun working with Leone and Kapoor.

Evelyn Sharma who plays the girlfriend of Kapoor’s son in the film, walks in on the set,dressed casually. Soaking in the cool breeze and the sun, Sharma says that since she still has time on her hand, she will change into a bikini as that is what she will be wearing in the scene scheduled to be shot. A major portion of Kuch Kuch… has been shot in Malaysia, and with this song, the film shall go into post-production and will release on May 8.

TSeries’ upcoming movie ‘Ek Paheli Leela’ is surely one of the most anticipated films of 2015 as the first look of ‘Leela’ had created a mass frenzy where Sunny was seen sitting on a throne as the royal princess.

A new look of Sunny in the movie has been launched, which is inspired by the ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’ look of yesteryear actress Zeenat Aman.

“Uzair Jaswal is an absolutely amazing singer. The song ‘Tere Bin’ was a rage on Youtube, and hence a lot of producers wanted to acquire the rights of the song. When I heard the song for the first time, I was sure that it will do wonders for the movie. When Bhushan heard the song, even he fell in love with it at that very instant. As a lot of producers in India were eyeing that song, we bought the rights of the song instantly.” says Ahmed Khan.

Ek Paheli Leela, which is a musical thriller, will release in April this year.
